About us: The RCUCF approach
Redwood Credit Union Community Fund (RCUCF), is committed to community well-being and uplifting underserved populations by promoting economic inclusion through a variety of impactful initiatives. Our programs range from financial literacy education and affordable housing initiatives to robust support for small businesses, all designed to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Our comprehensive strategy not only addresses immediate needs, but also fosters long-term sustainability and empowerment. By focusing on collaborative, community-driven initiatives, we demonstrate the transformative power of solidarity, especially in times of adversity.
Our focused giving areas
-
Respond to the immediate needs in our community during a disaster and build preparedness to lessen the impacts of future events. Part of this includes supporting conservation and sustainable practices to enhance the resilience of our environment and our communities’ well-being.
-
Promote financial well-being by supporting economic vitality programs and jobs in our local communities to help reduce financial inequities and empower people to reach their financial goals and dreams.
-
Support access to housing for youth, families, and individuals to help end housing insecurity and homelessness while building stronger, more connected communities.
-
Raise funds from private and philanthropic organizations as well as individuals to invest in support of the overall well-being and quality of life in our communities.
